chris18 asks:

Hi, I'm doing my coursework on the effect of different light intensities on the thickness of nettle leaves, and I wanted to ask what can I write for my background knowledge and my analysis cuz I'm really stuck.

etutor answers:
There4 isn't a great deal of 'background knowledge' here. Basically, you might expect leaves in bright light to be thicker, because that would make better use of the light. In dim light, there would be a limit to penetration of the light so thick leaves would be no advantage.
