tarangtt asks:

I need to do statistical analysis for my A level biology coursework and i can not get to grips with it my coursework is to do with the effects of soil salination on the germination of wheat and barley seeds. Basicaly i germinated wheat and barley seeds in different concentrations of salt solution and measured the length of the radicle emerging from the seed

Here are the results:

Barley

Cocnetration of solution Length
0 5.7
0.8 3.99
1.2 2.21
1.6 0.72
2.0 0.47
2.4 0.24
3.2 0

I just want to know what statistical test i should use to analyise my results

etutor answers:
If you are trying to link length of radicle to salt concentration, you will need Spearman's Rank Correlation test.
