wardie1 asks:

I have to complete the 2007 planning exercise as a homework: you are required to plan an investigation to find the lowest temperature that kills all the yeast cells in a suspension of either dried or fresh bakers yeast.
I dont however have the chance to do preliminary experiments so how do i know roughly what the lowest temperature will be because i cant find it anywhere?

etutor answers:
I would think the lowest temperature would be around 50oC, so if you used a range of 40 - 80oC you should be safe.
