Hia
Ive got my Engish year 10 exa next week, I'm doing the Enlish Language Paper 1. ow do get better in writing to argue, persude or advise????
Thanks

etutor answers:

You should write clearly, precisely and accurately.  In each case, your language should be right for purpose and audience. For an argument, make use you express a point of view and develop this through examples. With persuasive language, think about the kind of langugage that will be appropriate  - this could be in the vocabulary you use you use but also in terms of rhetorical questions and alliteration. When you advise someone oyu will give instructions. 'I suggest you do this' or 'you could do that'.
