Usually one (in humans). Very occasionally, two may be released (one from each ovary) - this can result in non-identical twins being born.

yup dats rit ovulation occurs on da 14thday  and thr r 2 ovaris so  1 ovum will snt from 1 ovary and da nxt month a nothr will b snt form da othr ovary
