aizaz asks:

I need help on the coursework which involves the breakdown of Hydrogen Peroxide by catalase enzyme. I need a good method explaining how to measure oxygen gas produced.

etutor answers:
You need to give me more details. Catalase can be found in a variety of tissues, but either liver or potato is usually used. You could collect the gas in an inverted measuring cylinder under water or could measure it using a gas syringe. The method will depend on what variable you are investigating - it could be temperature, pH, or concentration of enzyme (Possibly of substrate, but that is unlikely with hydrogen peroxide).
