lillykins asks:

is it more acurate to use a calorimeter than a photo spectometer to mesure absobance? ans how can you improve erors such as using a ruler to cut the right length of the beetroot, and using water baths, what can you use instead?

etutor answers:
A colorimeter will be more accurate. There should not be any really significant errors in using a ruler and a water bath (if the latter is electronically controlled) so there is no need for an alternative method.
