cruznancy1 asks:

Which characterisic of living things is important to the survival of a group of animals rather than an individual member of this group? Why?

etutor answers:
The characteristic of living things which effects the survival of the whole species rather thyan just an individual is reproduction. The reason is straightforward. The individual does not need to reproduce to survive, but if reproiduction did not happen the species would die out.
