Can you please help me with these three questions please?

(1)Can you state four occupations,other than farming,of west African men and women in the early 1400's
B. Can you explain why farming was an important occupation in West Africa in the early 1400's?
C. What difficulties did farmers in West Africa face in the early1400's

Four occupations other than farming,

a)The rich trading city of Timbuktu had doctors, judges, priests.craftsmen.

b)Farming was the sole occupation and it was needed to feed your family and also to sell/exchange for other products.

c)The difficulties with farming would have been the climate, constant wars and a shortage of labour once slavery began to flourish.
