googlesnifty asks:

I am doing my Biology via distance learning at home. This means I do not have access to any kind of fancy equipment in a school laboratory. I have a microscope, and chemicals you can buy in a chemist, etc. Can you suggest any ideas for a fairly simple coursework project that will not take forever? I would preferably like todo something regarding enzymes.

etutor answers:
Enzymes would be difficult as you cannot reaqdily obtain them. You could use salivary amylase, which is found in saliva, or rennin, which is commercially available as rennet (difficult to find though). Osmosis in potatoes only requires potatoes, sugar and some measuring equipment for liquids.
