Luckyfawn3 asks:

Hello,
I'm trying to think of something to do for my biology investigation, but I can't decide. I've got quite a lot of animals of different species at my home. Is there any way I can do an investigation involving them? Example something to do with habituation or foraging behaviour?

Thank you!

etutor answers:
You don't say whether these animal species are pets or in your garden. I would advise against doing this sort of experiment, as they tend to be difficult to set up properly ,tend to be complex and take a long time or intensive study. It is possible, with a pet, that you could investigate habituation to sudden noise, but outside of a research lab it is difficult to set up a controlled situation. It would be far safer to stick to traditional experiments in the lab.
