Help AS coursework!!

Asked by megolego | Nov 20, 2007 | AS Level > English > Coursework

megolego asks:

"There is much of the Gothic Romance in Northanger Abbey including the main characters, setting and plot"
" Jane Austen's heroine, Catherine Morland, is made extraordinary by her ordinariness"
In light of these comments, to what extent is Catherine Morland a Gothic heroine?

Can you suggest a good opening for my coursework?? I'm rather stuck at the moment. Also any further links to help with my review of gothic romance/northanger abbey would be great
thanks
