Hi,

for a piece of coursework I have to compare the vegetation on a managed piece of land and an unmanaged piece of land, apparently the sorensen similarity index can be used. I was just wondering how what the method for this statistical test is?

I believe I have already sent an answer to this one, but it may have got stuck in the system. The Sorensen index does not 'test' anything, it is simply a measure for comparison of two sites. The method is described on page three of the following site:
