The hydrological cycle

This is a fabulous piece of work - lucky teacher you have! I added a few spelling changes and a few comments about where in USA has so much rain that plants couldn't grow. Also, I suggest that you use mm rather than inches - what about finding some rainfall figures for Amazonia and evenb England's wettest region the Lake District. I'm noy attaching the work because the file is so HUGE!

Well done-it really is very good! Actually, I'd love to put it on my website at http://www.geographyphotos,com for teachers to show their classes!

Painted cubes - cuboids - formulas

As you have not asked any specific questions I have read through your work. You have clearly made some excellent progress and should get a good mark. A couple of points that I think might make it even better are:

You have explained your patterns very well in words but not actually written the rule in algebra. For example if I had noticed a square number pattern for 1 painted face I would say O = one painted face n = number of cubes on one side O = n^2 (n to the power of 2 but can't do powers on typing)

Then I would substitute some values from 1 - 8 into the formula to prove it is correct. I have created a formula as there is an = sign. It would only be an expression if n^2 was written on its own.
